ISI, a leading provider of space-based intelligence solutions, announces the completion of an investment round by Discount Capital, Israel Discount Bank, investments arm, joining existing shareholders, FIMI opportunity funds, and IAI (Israeli Aerospace Industries).
The funding shall be utilized for further enhancing the company’s EROS Next Generation™ ultra-high resolution satellites constellation and in expanding research and development activities in New-Space satellite solutions and AI based analytics.
This investment round was led on behalf of Discount Capital by, CEO Hila Himi-Alpert and by Chief Investment Officer Hanoch Papoushado. Investing in ISI is part of Discount Capital’s investment strategy, which is focused at companies with unique technological edge and a substantial growth potential.
Since the investment by FIMI opportunity funds in 2017 and the appointment of Gillon Beck, FIMI senior partner as Chairman of ISI, the company entered into a substantial growth.
The investment will enable the expansion of ISI’s space-based assets as well as further increase investment in R&D.
